Getting Started with Equilab Omaha
The main window allows you to calculate equity using various filters. To calculate equity, you need to enter the appropriate hands or ranges for two or more players.
Once you set the filters you want, click the Evaluate button, and equity percentages will appear opposite each player's hand or range. You can also calculate flop equity, turn and river.
Spectrum selection and conductor (Range Explorer)
Besides calculating the equity of one hand against the other, PokerStrategy.com Equilab Omaha Can Calculate Your Equity Against Spectra. Other similar tools are not yet capable of this., which makes our software even more valuable.
You just need to click on the button “>“, and then open the Select spectrum menu (Range selection). A separate window will open (cm. picture below), and you will be able to choose a set of preset spectra.
By clicking on the information button next to your hand in the main window, you will go to explorer (Range Explorer), where all combinations will be displayed, components of a given spectrum.
Equity chart
The equity chart will open in a separate window and visually represent your equity. The information will be converted to a graph, to help you understand your equity relative to the range.
In the picture we see, that the hand KdQh8s8c has about 40% on the flop at 70% cases.
Situation analysis “hand A against hand B”
This tool allows you to compare two hands with each other and display detailed statistics..
Just specify the cards for each of the hands and you will receive a detailed analysis of their equity against each other. Besides, you will also be able to assess the playability of your hand in multi-pot.
Counting Outs on the Flop
Another important feature of Equilab Omaha is counting flop outs.. Obviously, what this function allows you to see, how many outs does our hand have on the flop.
You just need to ask your hand on the flop. Once you do it, then you will find out the number of outs on a flush or straight, including outs to the nut flush / straight. You will also be able to see your equity versus 100% ranges and probabilities for a straight draw on the flop..
